Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique has said “football is so unfair” following their Champions League exit in the hands of Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.

Mats Hummels scored at the Parc des Princes as Dortmund won 1-0.

The Bundesliga side won the semi-final tie 2-0 on aggregate and will face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the final.

Enrique, speaking to TNT Sports, said: “When the result is that, yes it’s difficult of course.

“A tight match, but to be honest I think we have to win the match. We created 31 shots, four [times hitting the woodwork] – football is so unfair sometimes.

“Congratulations to them. They are a great team and I hope they can go to the final and win it.”
