Galatasaray midfielder, Gabriel Sara has praised Victor Osimhen for his impact in the club’s emphatic win over Juventus, NEWSUNPLUG reports.
Okan Buruk’s side defeated the Serie A giants 5-2 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff tie at the RAMs Park on Tuesday night.
Sara opened the scoring for the Turkish Super Lig champions, and also registered an assist.
Osimhen also played a key role in the win, providing two assists.
The Nigeria international set up Noah Lang and Sacha Boey for the fourth and fifth goals respectively.
The striker has so far registered six goals, and two assists in seven outings for Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Sara commented on Osimhen’s performance after the game.
“Osimhen is also a very valuable player for us. We knew it would be very difficult. Football can be very unforgiving,” the Brazilian told the club’s official website.
