Chelsea winger, Alejandro Garnacho has aimed a cheeky dig at Manchester United after insisting that he is very happy at Stamford Bridge, after experiencing a ‘bad moment in life’ at Old Trafford.

The Argentina international spoke after helping Chelsea to beat Benfica 1-0 in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

Garnacho was being exiled by Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim during his time at the Red Devils.

Amorim reportedly told the 21-year-old winger to find a new club at the end of last season after growing frustrated with him at the club.

Speaking to TNT Sports after Chelsea defeated Benfica, Garnacho said: “I think it was a difficult moment there [Manchester United], just training alone.

“But I have nothing bad to say about the club, my old club, Manchester United.

“It was just a bad moment in life, but now I’m very happy to be here and to play in this competition and to get the three points today.”
