Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane has named himself and Serge Gnabry as the two players who made it hard for Chelsea to press them during both sides’ UEFA Champions League tie on Wednesday.

Recall that Bayern Munich defeated Chelsea 3-1 in the Champions League at the Allianz Arena.

Goals from Kane (2) and Trevor Chalobah’s own-goal gave the Bundesliga champions the victory against the Blues.

Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Kane said: “I think possession was key, finding the right angle, helping each other.

“Serge and I often drop deep to make it tough for them [Chelsea] to press. The longer the game went on, the more tired they looked.

“Spaces opened up and we were able to use them. It was a hard, physical game, but I’m really happy.”

Bayern will now shift their attention to the Bundesliga as they will face Hoffenheim this weekend.
