Former Bayern Munich midfielder, Owen Hargreaves, and ex-Arsenal man, Martin Keown have highlighted the ‘chaos’ Harry Kane caused the Gunners with his intelligent off-the-ball movement.
Arsenal beat Bayern Munich 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium to maintain their perfect start to this season’s Champions League.
Before Tuesday’s night encounter, both teams had remained unbeaten in the competitions.
Jurrien Timber headed the Gunners in front, but Lennart Karl finished off a fine move to bring Bayern level.
However, the Gunners came back smoking in the second half scoring twice through Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli.
“Look at Harry Kane, he’s the one causing chaos,” Hargreaves said on TNT Sport.
“He drops a little bit deeper, Gnabry gets wide and it’s a brilliant first-time pass and set.
“But look where Harry Kane is there… it gives William Saliba something to think about.”
Keown added, “I think you’re right because Saliba would then have been back, just to cover around a little bit.
“There’s 24 passes for that goal and Harry Kane doesn’t touch it, but he has an effect on the goal.”
