Arsenal star, Mikel Merino has named the Real Madrid player he likes the most.

Merino scored a goal in Arsenal’s Champions League quarter-final first leg 3-0 win against Real Madrid last week.

The Spaniard will hope to lead the Gunners to victory against the Los Blancos in the second leg.

Speaking about the Real Madrid player he admired most, Merino told Cope: “They are all top-level players, I love them all, but the one I like the most, and I have already said I’d like to play with him, is Rodrygo.

“He is very good technically, he plays very well between the lines, he moves into space well.

“I really like watching him play. He is a profile that any midfielder would like to play with.”

Rodrygo has been impressive since joining Real Madrid from Santos in 2019.
