Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, has suggested that he feels better at Barcelona where he is currently on loan than at Old Trafford.
The England international netted twice on Thursday night as Barcelona beat Newcastle United 2-1 in England.
Rashford said he is loving life in his ‘refreshing’ new surroundings, suggesting he might not be willing to return to Manchester United at the end of the season.
Rashford, who lost his place at Man United squad under Amorim, was sent on loan to Aston Villa in the second half of last season before joining Barca for the current campaign.
Before scoring twice against Newcastle in the Champions League on Thursday night, the 27-year-old had played four La Liga games without a goal.
Rashford headed in his first goal for Barça in the 58 minute and fired in the second from outside the box.
Newcastle forward, Anthony Gordon reduced the tally very late on, but the game finished 2-1.
Speaking after the game, the on-loan forward told TNT Sports, “It’s going good.
“Obviously learning a lot, it’s a new way of football. I’m enjoying it all and I think it’s making me a better player.
“That’s what I’m here to do, help the team win but also try and improve and be the best I can.
“Honestly it’s an amazing experience, I’ve always been a huge admirer of Barcelona.
“It’s refreshing to play with these guys. I’ve said it a few times but the team’s so young, they play with such confidence, such understanding of the game.”
