Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has named two favourites to win this year’s UEFA Champions League.
Erinque spoke at his post-match interview after his side’s UEFA Champions League 2-1 win against Barcelona on Wednesday.
Recall that goals from Senny Mayulu and Goncalo Ramos gave PSG the victory against Barcelona.
Ferran Torres scored a goal for Hansi Flick’s side at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
Speaking after the game, Enrique said Barcelona and PSG are among favourites to win the Champions League this season.
“Barcelona are among the candidates to win the Champions League,” Enrique said as quoted by ESPN.
“They play really well, they’re a top-level side. This is just the start of the competition. There are six games left, and we will see what happens.
“But I have no doubts because I like how they play. There are not many teams with a clear Identity like theirs.
“Barca are clearly among the favourites with us. But it’s just getting started. Let’s see how everyone arrives at the knockout rounds.”
