Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, has reacted to his side’s Champions League quarter-final draw with Manchester City.

Salihamidzic said Man City is better than Paris Saint-Germain, adding that their striker Erling Haaland is one of the best strikers in the world.

He stated this in Nyon on Friday following the conclusion of the Champions League quarter-final draws.

Reacting to the quarter-final draw, Salihamidzic was quoted by UEFA’s official website as saying, “I like playing against the good teams. Our guys are very focused there. That is a top pairing. It is a tough opponent, in my opinion, the strongest.

“It is a small final again. After Paris, this is again a squad that has a lot of quality. They won very convincingly against Leipzig. We will see Pep Guardiola again. I’m looking forward to the games.”

He added, “Haaland is one of the best strikers in the world – he does very, very well. We have already defended very well against Paris but City are currently even better.”
