Eintracht Frankfurt manager, Dino Toppmoller has insisted that Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is irrelevant to his team.
Toppmoller said this while down playing the importance of Osimhen missing Galatasaray’s away UEFA Champions League clash against Frankfurt.
Frankfurt will host Galatasaray in the Champions League at Deutsche Bank Park on Thursday evening.
However, Osimhen will take no part in the game due to an ankle injury he sustained while on international duty for Nigeria against Rwanda in the World Cup qualifier earlier this month.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Toppmoller said of Osimhen: “Whether he plays or not is irrelevant to us. Both teams will have eleven top players on the pitch tomorrow.”
