British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has singled out two Arsenal players for praise following the Gunners’ Champions League 1-1 draw with Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday.
Recall that a late goal from Kai Havertz ensured Mikel Arteta’s side drew with the Bundesliga side in Germany.
In a tweet via his X account after the game, Morgan hailed Havertz for his brilliant composure against the hosts.
He also lauded Madueke for winning a penalty for the Premier League leaders against Leverkusen.
“BOOOOOM! 1-1. Brilliant composure from Havertz against his old team. But even better by Madueke to force the penalty. Love how he runs at defenders,” Morgan wrote on X.
“Madueke… gave us the spark we desperately needed. On balance, a good result for us.”
