Former Chelsea and Liverpool manager, Rafa Benitez, has predicted Wednesday’s Champions League clash between Real Madrid and Arsenal.

The Gunners travel to Spain with a 3-0 advantage from the first leg of the quarter-final tie.

Benitez has admitted that a comeback will “be difficult” for the LaLiga champions.

He said: “A comeback for Real Madrid vs Arsenal will be difficult because Arsenal are strong.

“Although the Bernabéu is a different story, if Arsenal score, everything becomes more complicated.

“But deep down, I hope Real Madrid win and qualify.”

Benitez managed Real Madrid between July 2025 and January 2026.

The Spaniard only took charge of 25 fixtures during a short stint before he was sacked by president Florentino Perez.
