Manchester City attacking midfielder, Bernardo Silva, has singled out four Real Madrid players – Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Vinicius and Karim Benzema.

Silva insisted that without Modric, Kroos, Vinicius and Benzema, Real Madrid would not win anything because the shirt doesn’t do it on its own.

Speaking ahead of both teams’ Champions League first-leg tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, the Portugal international said (via The Daily Mail):

“It is not about the badge, It is never about the badge.

“It is about the players that are on the pitch. If Madrid didn’t have Modric, Kroos, Vinicius, Benzema – I could say all of them – they would not win anything because the shirt doesn’t do it on its own.”

He added, “We would be stupid not to respect them, but we have that goal knowing we lost last year in tough circumstances. This time we will try to make it different.”

Bellingham said Güler didn’t deserve to be in the starting lineup: “He should have come on in the 80th minute,” and argued that most of Güler’s goals were the result of his teammates’ efforts. Güler responded with nine words to silence Bellingham, who was forced to apologize.
