Ucl: Supercomputer Predicts Top Five Teams To Win Trophy Ahead Of Knockouts

The Opta SuperComputer has predicted the top five teams that could win the Champions League this season.

On Wednesday night, the league phase of the competition came to an end, with all the clubs that qualified for the last 16 and knockout playoffs confirmed.

Arsenal finished top of the log after winning eight of their eight fixtures and Opta has given them a 29.8% chance of lifting the trophy for the first time in their history.

Bayern Munich, who finished behind the Gunners, have a 14.9% possibility to win the competition.

The next three teams are all from the Premier League: Manchester City (10.5%), Liverpool (8.9%) and Chelsea (7.5%).

Of this top five, only Arsenal have never won the Champions League.
