Arsenal striker, Viktor Gyokeres, has said “there are a lot of goals” in the club’s famous number 14 shirt.

Gyokeres was speaking to Thierry Henry on CBS Sports, after ending his drought in the 4-0 thrashing of Atlético Madrid in the Champions League.

Although the first half ended goalless, the Gunners scored four times in the second half at the Emirates.

Gabriel Magalhães opened the scoring in the 57th minute, before Gabriel Martinelli doubled their advantage.

Gyokeres then ended his nine-game drought for club and country with a quickfire brace.

“It feels great, to be honest. There’s a lot of goals in this shirt. It feels amazing,” Gyokeres told Henry at full time.

“To be honest, there weren’t many shirt numbers available but when 14 was available, it was a big honour.

“We want to win trophies, that’s our desire and that’s the most important thing and of course I want to contribute and score goals.”
