Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has described Estevao as a special player after the Blues’ UEFA Champions League 3-0 win against Barcelona on Tuesday.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Maresca said the Brazilian international is also working hard in trainings and not spending a lot of time on social media.

Goals from Estevao, Liam Delap and Jules Kounde (own-goal) ensured the Blues defeated Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.

“Estevao looks like an old style guy. He is not on his phone all the time, not spending a lot of time on social media,” Maresca said.

“He is working hard, he is a simple and normal kid. I love that. His family is always around.

“He is special player but normal guy,” he added.

Estevao will now hope to continue his impressive display for Chelsea when they take on Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend.
