Bayern Munich star, Leroy Sane has disclosed that Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta helped him to become a better footballer during their time together at Manchester City.

Sane said he still uses what Arteta taught him at Man City, hailing the Spainaird’s impact on his career.

Recall that Same worked with Arteta when the Arsenal manager was Pep Guardiola’s assistant at the Etihad.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Bayern Munich’s Champions League quarter-final first leg fixture with Arsenal on Tuesday night, Sane said about Arteta: “I was really pleased to work with him because he helped me a lot at Manchester City.

“We had a lot of individual talk about how I can improve my game. What are my weaknesses and strengths?

“Through him I made quick, huge improvements because of the ideas he gave to me. I still keep them in my mind.

“If it’s about positioning, how do I have to behave in certain situations, so I’m pleased with that.”
