Galatasaray head coach, Okan Buruk has provided a fitness update on Victor Osimhen following his side’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool.

Osimhen scored the Yellow and Reds only goal of the thrilling encounter from the penalty spot in the 16th minute.

The Nigeria international was replaced by Mauro Icardi 19 minutes from time.

Osimhen battled with a ankle injury earlier this month, and only returned to action for Galatasaray last weekend against Alanyaspor.

Buruk revealed that the striker was substituted due to cramp, and not because of another injury.

“Osimhen was feeling tired and had a cramp in his foot, but we don’t think it’s anything serious.

“There’s no negative information coming in at this time,” Buruk was quoted by the club’s official website.
