KAA Gent forward, Gift Orban has been nominated for the UEFA Europa Conference League Player and Goal of the Week awards.
Orban scored a hat-trick in Gent’s 4-1 win against Istanbul Basaksehir on Tuesday night.
It was the fastest-ever hat-trick in the history of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen, Az Alkmaar forward, Jesper Karlssson and Anderlecht star, Bert Verbruggen are the other players nominated for the Player of the Week award.
For the Goal of the Week award, Orban will slug it out with Bowen, Sivasspor’s Erdogan Yesllyurt and Gaetan Laborde of OGC Nice.
The winners will be announced by UEFA later on Friday.
