Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ugezu Ugezu has made an observation about those who embezzle community funds.

On his Instagram page, the filmmaker said that those who survive by doing such do not always end well. He stated that those who manage to end well have curses waiting for their successors.

He questioned why people still engage in such acts, noting that karma (revenge) is faceless. The filmmaker emphasised that only a foolish person would leave curses for their successors.

“People who survive by embezzling community funds do not always end well.
Where they manage to end well, the curse waits for their successors.
This is commonplace.
I don’t know why people still do it.
Karma is faceless.

Only a foolish person will leave curses for his or her successors”.

Last year, Ugezu revealed that Nigerian ancestors were against patriarchy and truly valued their women highly. He expressed that our Nigerian ancestors had always granted political power to women; however, everything changed when modern women decided to unmask the mystery of the masquerade.

In advice to African youths, the veteran urged them to desist from resorting to insults when communicating with their parents or older people. He also emphasised the long-term repercussions of doing so.

Sometimes back, the veteran actor and filmmaker, Ugezu Ugezu had shared the heartbreaking story of a Nigerian medical doctor who became a meat butcher in the US. According to him, the practising medical doctor sold his clinic and relocated to the US. Unfortunately for him, he became a butcher in a meat shop, hiding from Nigerians to avoid being noticed.

Weighing in on paternity saga, the veteran actor and filmmaker, kicked against the need for DNA, as he chastised men who have formed the habit of undergoing paternity tests before claiming a child. He opined that DNA stuff is tearing many homes apart and destroying innocent children as any child born to an African man is an African man’s child.
