Lobi Stars striker, Abba Umar, has been nominated for Nigeria Premier Football League Goal of the Month award for February.
Umar’s stunning strike in Lobi Stars’ 2-0 win against Doma United last weekend was nominated for the award.
The forward has scored two goals this season to help Lobi Stars to secure top position on the Nigeria Premier Football League Group B table.
Former Golden Eaglets winger, King Osanga’s free-kick in Nasarawa United’s 2-0 win against Niger Tornadoes was also nominated.
Cyril Olisema of Akwa United was also nominated for his superb strike against El-Kanemi Warriors.
The winner will be announced next week.
