Social media activist VeryDarkMan has weighed in on a viral video showing a Bolt driver allegedly harassing a female passenger after she refused to pay a fare higher than the amount already charged by the ride-hailing app.
The controversy centers on the driver’s demand for an extra amount despite the app’s official fare calculation.
According to reports circulating with the viral video, the lady had already been charged ₦12,900 by the Bolt app for her trip. However, the driver allegedly demanded a total payment of ₦15,000, resulting in a dispute over the ₦2,100 difference.
The video clip reportedly captured the driver h@rassing the lady after she refused to pay the inflated fare he demanded.
