Fabian Adibe, a Nollywood veteran, has died at the age of 82.

CEO of Best Nollywood, BON, Seun Oloketuyi confirmed the actor’s death early on Wednesday.

“Things Fall Apart actor, Fabian Adibie, is dead. Died 2:30 am this morning,” Oloketuyi posted on social media.

The veteran actor was renowned for his roles in several classic films, particularly his performance in the screen adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart.

As the Nollywood and broader entertainment community mourns his loss, tributes are flowing in from fans and colleagues, describing him as a “true legend” and hoping his soul rests in peace.
