Retired Super Eagles player Victor Moses revealed why he moved to Italian club Inter Milan, snubbing the interest of the premier league in making contact with his former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.

Chelsea winger Victor Moses signed for the Black and Blues in January after terminating his 18-month loan agreement with Turkish club Fenerbahce, and has now explained why he made the decision.

“I love football, it’s been my passion since I was a kid. It’s in my blood and what I love to do. The turning point in my career came when I made my debut at Crystal Palace at the age of 16,” Moses told Inter’s matchday programme, as Football Italia will.

“I walked onto the pitch and the atmosphere was incredible. It made me believe that football is my purpose in life, something I can give everything to with 100 per cent commitment.

“He [Conte] is a great man and coach, I know his methods well. He wants to get the best out of his players and that’s the main reason I’m here, because I’ve worked with him and I know what he wants: he just wants us to go out there and work hard and have fun while we develop our vision of ‘Conte’.

“Of course I want to do that, win with him, this team and a fantastic club. I already knew [Romelu] Lukaku, [Ashley] Young and [Christian] Eriksen. They are all fantastic guys and we are all rowing in the same direction.
