Victor Osimhen has continued to silence his critics by showing why he is one of the top three forward players in the world after his impressive performance in the UEFA Champions League.
Osimhen took one step closer to equaling Cristiano Ronaldo’s UEFA Champions League record after he bagged a hat-trick against Ajax. This feat extended his record of scoring in consecutive Champions League games to eight, three shy of the Portugal international’s mark.
Osimhen has made a dramatic impact in the UEFA Champions League, delivering decisive performances when it matters most. In their 1-0 group stage win over Liverpool in Istanbul, Osimhen stepped up to convert a penalty in the 16th minute, sending the keeper the wrong way and securing the victory.
