Vigilante members have k!lled two notorious bandit leaders, Kachalla Maijikka and Me Dada, in Garagi village, Mayanchi District of Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

It was gathered that the incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, when local vigilantes engaged and neutralised the bandits during a confrontation.

The operation was a result of increased surveillance in the ongoing fight against banditry in the region.

One of the bandits, Me Dada, known for leading deadly attacks and kidnappings in the area, was beheaded by the vigilantes.

The ruthless bandit commander was also known for flaunting ransom money on TikTok.

Security analyst, Zagazola Makama, who confirmed the development, said a third bandit leader was k!lled during the operation.

“Further investigations are ongoing to determine the identities of the deceased and any potential links to known criminal groups operating within the area,” he added.
