England manager, Thomas Tuchel, has insisted that Arsenal duo, Bukayo Saka and Noni Madueke have given him a “good” selection problem in his team.

Tuchel spoke after England’s international friendly 3-0 win over Wales at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.

Recall that the Three Lions defeated Wales, thanks to goals from Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Saka.

Speaking on Saka and Madueke giving him a selection ‘problem’ ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Tuchel replied at his post-match interview as quoted by Metro UK: “Good. That is what we want.

“Noni is unfortunately injured. Noni was excellent in the last camp; he was electric.

“He then continued to play for his club while Bukayo was out for Arsenal in the same manner.

“We were very, very sad that he is now injured, but Saka stepped up. He had to step up, also.”

England’s next game is against Latvia in the World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.
