Three European clubs have celebrated the Super Eagles’ qualification for the 2026 World Cup qualifying playoffs final.

The clubs are Brentford, Sevilla and Galatasaray.

Recall that Nigeria thrashed the Panthers 4–1 to reach the World Cup playoffs final on Thursday.

The Super Eagles will play against DR Congo in the World Cup qualifying playoffs final on Sunday.

Reacting on X after Nigeria’s victory over Gabon, Sevilla, who have two Nigerian players Adams and Ejuke, in their team, said: “A 2nd Super Eagles goal for Akor Adams. Akor scoring in a 4-1 win. Run it back…First goal [for Ejuke]. We mount.”
