Comedian Basketmouth (Bright Okpocha) has advised former couples against publicly airing their partners’ faults when a marriage ends. He noted that every marriage faces challenges and admitted that he experienced difficulties in his own marriage but never took to social media to discuss them.
The comedian, whose marriage ended in divorce, emphasized that parents should consider their children’s feelings, as public disputes can shame them among peers who are active on social media.
Referring to the high-profile case of Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, Basketmouth urged Ned to manage the situation responsibly as an adult, stressing that society as a whole can handle such matters better and more respectfully.
