New Manchester United signing, Leny Yoro has named the club’s former player Rio Ferdinand as the person who convinced him to sign for the Red Devils.
According to Yoro, Ferdinand spoke with him for 10 minutes.
The Frenchman recently completed a transfer from Lille to Man United last Thursday.
“It was like two weeks ago [when I first spoke to Rio Ferdinand],” Leny said as quoted by Man United’s website. “He called me.
“First of all, I was really impressed to speak with him and, yeah, we spoke for like 10 minutes about Man United, so he helped me a lot to make my choice. It was really an honour to speak with him.”
