Lagos State sweepers employed by the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), have dumped their uniforms in a public show as they protest non payment of their 3 months salaries.

In a video shared online, the LAWMA sweepers are seen taking off their uniforms and dumping them in a heap in the middle of a busy road.

“We’re not doing again. Come and carry your load,” they complained as they dumped their uniforms.

Expressing their grievance, the state government workers said they have not been paid for three months yet they’ve been working diligently.
