Nollywood star Peggy Ovire’s birthday celebration took an unexpected twist after fans began questioning the state of her marriage to actor Frederick Leonard.
Peggy, who celebrated her birthday on Monday, October 21, shared a series of elegant photos on her social media pages to mark the occasion. While colleagues and admirers flooded her comment section with warm wishes, many couldn’t help but notice her husband’s notable silence.
Frederick Leonard’s absence of a birthday post sparked widespread online debate, with fans speculating about possible tension between the couple.
Fueling the rumours further, some observant followers pointed out that Peggy hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring in recent photos and videos.
Since their glamorous wedding held in Asaba, Delta State, on November 19, 2022, Peggy and Frederick’s marriage has frequently attracted public attention. In the months that followed, several online allegations about infidelity and marital issues made the rounds.
Back in 2024, Frederick addressed these rumours, cautioning bloggers against meddling in their private lives. He made it clear that their union was not for social media validation, stressing that they didn’t need to flaunt their love online to prove their happiness.
