Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for September 2025, after an incredible run of form for the Cityzens.
The Norwegian forward was in fantastic form in September scoring five goals and providing one assist in three Premier League appearances. Haaland’s clinical finishing and powerful presence helped City bounce back from their poor form at the start to the 2025/26 season.
Haaland scored five goals in September, three more than any other player across the Premier League. Having also produced an assist, the Norwegian striker was involved in six goals in the month, double the total of anyone else. His goals included a sensational double against rivals Manchester United, a brilliant counter-attacking effort versus Arsenal, and brace against Burnley that took him to eight Premier League goals for the season.
This latest accolade marks Haaland’s fifth Premier League Player of the Month award since joining Manchester City in 2022, further cementing his place among the league’s modern greats. With his current form, the 25-year-old looks poised for another record-breaking season under Pep Guardiola.
Haaland beat five other players to win the prestigious monthly award in the Premier League leaving his mark as the best striker in the world.
