Shooting Stars right back Muritala Taye has revealed his major ambition on his return to the club.

Muritala played a key role in the Oluyole Warriors’ return to the Nigeria Professional Football League in the 2020/21 season.

“I’m here to help this club regain its rightful place in Nigerian football and on the continent,” he told the club’s media.

“It always hurts when I see the team struggling in the past seasons, but you know when you are outside, there is nothing you can do to help the situation.

“The main reason why I came back, is to help the club return to the top spot and I believe with what I am seeing so far, It is quite possible.”

He featured for Wikki Tourist and Akwa United in the NPFL before his return to Ibadan.
