A video shared online shows a woman saying an unusual prayer for a newborn.

A naming ceremony for the baby was underway when the woman saying the prayer placed a pen in the baby’s hand.

She then prayed that baby Akorede’s name will be written amongst those who use pen to embezzle Nigeria’s funds.

The prayer has raised brows and led to a conversation about how corruption has become acceptable in Nigeria.
