A woman has shared how a man reacted when she refused to give him her number after he willingly paid her transport fare.
The woman took to X to share the encounter.
She wrote: “On my way to work this morning, I entered a car with a man. He complimented my outfit and insisted on paying my transport fare (even after I declined). I thanked him.
“Minutes later, he then asked for my phone number, but I politely declined, he followed up by asking if I was married. I said no. He then asked why I was refusing to share my contact, and I replied, ‘I’m sorry, it’s personal.’
“His response? ‘But a stranger can pay your transport fare?’
“He then told the driver to refund him my fare, claiming he had overpaid and making a whole scene.
“But honestly… why did he acted so petty like that?”
