Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola seems to be retracing her steps after dragging her senior colleague, Afeez Owo, who is also the husband of Mide Martins.
Newsunplug reported that Afeez, in an interview, said Wumi only reacts to things when people push her. Afeez clarified that if people don’t look for Wumi’s trouble, she wouldn’t react, but she does not take nonsense.
Not pleased with his statement, Wumi lashed out at him, questioning whether she should rent a husband to hold the mic and spoil things. She noted how Afeez is eldërly and, as such, should stop his drama. Toriola noted how, despite his unfortunate behaviours, she still respects him.
Retracing her steps following the massive backlash she received, Toriola shared a video of herself on a plane, describing it as the face of a repentant child.
She stated that it is still all love from her end as she appreciated the public for the backlash.

In 2023, Mide and Afeez had tendered a deep apology to Wumi over an expensive mistake, which made her a subject of ridicule online. The couple, who were the producers of the movie, tendered an apology to Wumi, as they noted how it was an expensive error from the production crew at the editing stage.
Last month, the famous actress had reacted to a subtle shade from singer Adekunle Gold, who compared Wumi to BBNaija Imisi, noting that they both have a crãzy personality. Responding to him, Wumi said she had repented since the beginning of the year and was now a gentle lady.
Wumi revealed an unknown fact about herself. She stated that she walks her own path unapologetically and with unwavering focus. The mother of one made it known that she doesn’t allow the noise, hype and opinions to move her. She stated that people can call it anything they want, but she sees it as growth forged through struggle.
Last year, a fan of Wumi had reprimanded her for throwing shots at some of her colleagues, advising her to leave others and stop creating enemies for herself and Wumi replied, telling him to shut up.
