The spokesperson of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, Dele Oyewale, is of the opinion that internet fraudsters popularly known as Yahoo Yahoo boys are the ones wrecking more havoc on Nigeria’s economy.

Oyewale stated this while speaking to newsmen after an event. In his words;

‘’The present reality today in this country is that the so called internet fraudsters or yahoo boys, they are reeking more havoc on the economy than any other set of people. and so for us to come out of this perception, we need to realise that the anti-corruption fight is a broad-based fight”
