Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted to the trend of body shaming women after surgery.
In the wake of the death of Elena Jessica, she pointed out the irony of how men bully women, mock their bodies and pressure them until they undergo BBL, and yet still criticise them after the surgery.
She noted how, since the news of the death of Elena, men have been preaching to women to love themselves and their natural bodies.
In a message to her gënder, she told them to do whatever they think is right for their body, as it’s their choice, not hers.
“Now men are saying women should love themselves and that we’re beautiful the way we are.
But the same men bvll¥ women, mock their bodies, and pressure them until they feel like the only option is to get a Be-Be-L. Then, when a woman finally does it, they turn around and shame her for it. Ladies, do whatever you think is right for your own body. It’s your choice, not theirs.”
Nkechi made it known that if she ever contemplates going under the knife, it would only be weight loss surgery and not procedures meant to alter her body shape.
