Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo has clapped back at her colleague, Maureen Solomon, following remarks Maureen made about her post-surgery video.
Uche, who recently underwent a body enhancement procedure, had shared clips from her recovery journey while appreciating the hospital where the operation was performed.
However, Maureen Solomon criticized the video, saying actresses who are seen as role models should avoid publicizing such procedures, as it could send the wrong message to younger fans.
Reacting to the statement, Uche Ogbodo hit back at her senior colleague, accusing her of hypocrisy. The mother of three claimed she knew Maureen’s lifestyle before she stepped out of the limelight, alleging that Maureen used to flaunt her curvy figure and often wore revealing outfits.
Uche further alleged that Maureen was known for heavy smoking on movie sets in the past, labeling her the “mother of decadence” during that period.
The actress questioned how undergoing cosmetic surgery made her a bad influence, arguing that beauty procedures like BBLs are personal choices and not moral failings.
She went on to advise Maureen to stop judging others and allow women to make decisions that make them happy, declaring that everyone has the right to live life on their own terms.
