The Federal Government has congratulated famed singer Rema for his big win at the just-concluding MTV Video Music Awards, VMAs.
The singing sensation on Tuesday won the ‘Best Afrobeats’ category at the 2023 MTV award ceremony in New Jersey, USA.
He secured the award with the remix of his 2022 collaborative smash track “Calm Down” which featured America’s Selena Gomez.
Felicitating with Rema, the presidency in a post via its official X handle lauded the songster’s musical journey and how he continues to represent the country on the global stage.
He was also commended for his acceptance speech which was characterised as amazing.
