Jerome Adams Akor and Zaidu Sanusi will hit Polokwane on Wednesday (today) for the Super Eagles 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Lesotho.

Sanusi was called up as a late replacement for the injured Birmingham City defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Sevilla striker, Akor has been handed his maiden invitation by head coach, Eric Chelle.

The duo are expected to arrive camp in time for tonight’s training session.

Meanwhile, United States of America-based midfielder Alhassan Yusuf Abdullahi is expected to land in South Africa on Thursday.
