England manager, Thomas Tuchel, has revealed the country he wants England to avoid ahead of the draws for the 2026 World Cup.
The Three Lions finished their qualifying series with eight wins and no defeats.
Tuchel’s men also did not concede a single goal as they qualified as group winners.
England head into next year’s tournament as one of the favourites and are currently fourth in the FIFA world rankings.
But Tuchel wants his team to avoid his native Germany in the knockout round.
He told ITV: “For me personally, it adds some emotions on top of it and some extra pressure.”
The last time the two nations locked horns at a major tournament was at Euro 2020 as England defeated Germany 2-0 in the last 16 at Wembley.
