Heartwarming videos and photos from the 70th birthday celebration of singer Innocent “2Baba” Idibia’s mother have recently emerged online.
The African Queen star shared a touching video in honor of his mother’s milestone, showering her with loving words and affectionately referring to her as “lady” and “girl,” while the celebrant smiled and blushed at the sweet gestures.
In one popular video, she was seen making a peace sign while radiating joy. Another clip captured her standing beside a three-tier birthday cake, looking elegant and youthful in a black floor-length gown, despite celebrating her 70th year.
2Baba also took to the stage to perform for his mother, entertaining the guests, and later shared a dance with her, creating a cherished moment for everyone present.
Not all of 2Baba’s children were in attendance. His two daughters with estranged wife Annie Idibia, as well as his three children with Pero Adeniyi, were absent. However, Pastor Sunmbo Adeoye’s sons, Nino and Zion, were present, taking photos with other family members to honor their grandmother.
The singer’s brother and his family also joined in the celebration, capturing memorable moments with the celebrant.
Earlier that day, Annie Idibia shared posts on Instagram, but did not mark the occasion of her mother-in-law’s milestone. Instead, she posted videos from a fun outing with friend Swanky Jerry, with whom she had not been closely connected in recent times following their appearance on Young, Rich, Famous and African.
