Arsenal are keen to bring in Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camaviga on loan, according to The Evening Standard.
The Gunners are mulling over making an approach for the Frenchman this month as Mikel Arteta targets a big-money deal to bring West Ham’s Declan Rice to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
But Arteta wants an extra body in midfield, as they try to win the Premier League title for the first time since 2004.
Camavinga, 20, is seen as an ideal short-term signing as he has struggled for minutes in LaLiga this season.
Arteta has already completed the £26m signing of Leandro Trossard from Brighton, with Spezia centre-back Jakub Kiwior also set to join in a £22m deal.
Bringing in a player of Camavinga’s calibre would send a message to title rivals Manchester City and Manchester United.
