Media personality, Toke Makinwa, has recounted how she tragically lost her parents in a fire outbreak.
She said that the sad event threw her into a high level of uncertainty and anxiety which also formed one of her “biggest fears”.
In a recent interview on her podcast, she relived the terrifying event with comedian and filmmaker, AY Makun.
Recall that AY’s residence in Lagos was gutted by fire in August.
Toke Makinwa started talking about a similar story concerning her family many years ago.
She said,
“I’ve been a victim of a house fire when I was a kid and unfortunately both my parents died as a result of that. That’s one of my biggest fears.”
