Joe Igbokwe has opposed Rita Edochie’s plea for Nnamdi Kanu to be granted freedom.

The APC Chieftain made his feelings known on Facebook after actress Rita Edochie went on Instagram to advocate for the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Ms. Edochie had accused the Nigerian government of wickedness and engaging in double standard for still keeping Kanu detained. She then called for his urgent release.

Reacting, Igbokwe wrote on Facebook: “I just read Mrs Rita Edochie’s plea for Nnamdi Kanu’s freedom and I feel like vomiting. Maybe she did not know what happened in the South East from 2015 to 2025. This is unbelievable. Mama biko nakpuo be ji. Okwua kariri gi. Alu melu.”
