In other news….. Nigerian netizens are buzzing over a recent post by social media critic Daniel Regha about Wizkid.

In a detailed message, Regha reviewed the Starboy’s latest collaboration with producer Sarz, alongside Asake and Skillibeng. The track, which debuted on September 25, 2025, has already gained strong traction among music enthusiasts, many praising the seamless blend between Wizkid and the other artists that resulted in an addictive sound.

But Regha was far from impressed. He argued that Wizkid’s contribution lacked originality, claiming the singer has released nearly ten features this year without showing any artistic growth. His critique has stirred controversy, prompting a heated exchange between Wizkid’s supporters and detractors across social media.

Read what Daniel Regha said here:

Wizkid has been in about 10 songs this year, and not one is exceptional. In his latest collab “Getting Paid”, the song needed a better intro and chorus from Asake, but Wizkid did a decent job with his entrance (compared to some of his past works that were off-keyed).”

“However, if you take away the beats, Wizkid offers nothing new creatively speaking, and when it comes to his artistic journey he hasn’t evolved. Skillibeng also wasn’t a right fit for the collab. 2.5/10. No offense.”
