Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has been told to sign Quinten Timber, the twin brother of Jurrien Timber.
Former Manchester United’s assistant coach, Rene Meulensteen, believes the midfielder would be of help for the Gunners’ title chase.
He said the Spaniard should consider signing the Dutchman in the upcoming January transfer window.
Quinten plays for Dutch side Feyenoord and the Netherlands international team.
Meulensteen, who is a huge fan of both players and feels the two Dutchmen could help Arsenal win this season’s Premier League title.
“Jurrien Timber will be key if Arsenal do win the title,” Meulensteen told BetVictor.
“He’s a competitor. He’s versatile. He can play in different positions.
“Obviously his brother is playing at Feyenoord, he is a very good player as well who Arsenal could keep an eye on.
“They’re good and I like Jurrien. He brings this bit of grit that Arsenal need, and on top of that, he’s obviously a very, very good player.”
Quinten started his career at Ajax before joining Utrecht, where he was named the club’s Player of the Year in 2022.
The 24-year-old was then snapped up by Feyenoord and helped them clinch the Eredivisie title in 2023.
