Former Liverpool star, Danny Murphy has predicted the position Manchester United will finish this season in the Premier League table.

Murphy stated this while insisting that Manchester United wing-backs still need to do more in their performances for Ruben Amorim’s side.

Man United are in sixth position after their Premier League win against Brighton last weekend.

However, Murphy believes the Red Devils have a realistic chance of finishing in the top seven position on the Premier League table this season.

“I do think there has been some progression in terms of the way they set up,” Murphy told talkSPORT when asked about Man United’s recent run of form.

“Then they have a realistic chance of top six, top seven, maybe even top four if they have an amazing run, but I don’t think so because they are heavily reliant on a couple of the front boys.

“I still think they could get a bit more from their wing-backs [Amad Diallo, Patrick Dorgu and Diogo Dalot].”
